Shattered Oven Door Glass
The outer pane on most oven doors is tempered, but a hard bump, a slammed door, or a sudden temperature swing can still cause it to shatter into small, granular pieces without warning.
It's more than a cosmetic issue — a cracked or missing panel changes how heat is held inside the cavity and can leave sharp glass fragments around the door and floor. We remove the damaged pane, replace it with the correct OEM glass for your model, and reseal the door so it insulates the way it's supposed to.
On gas wall ovens, a slow or weak igniter is almost always the culprit when the burner clicks but won't catch — not the gas valve. If it's taking more than about 90 seconds to ignite, the igniter is drawing too little current to open the safety valve and needs to be replaced before it fails completely.
